Thomas Tiffany, Ph.D.
Thomas O. Tiffany, Ph.D., Senior NMG Consultant, is a laboratory expert who has been a leader in the biomedical field for more than 40 years. Prior to his consulting career, Dr. Tiffany served as President/CEO of PAML for 25 years. PAML, the fourth largest laboratory in the United States, was recognized as one of the best 100 companies to work for by Modern Health Care.
Prior to PAML, Dr. Tiffany led the development of the MultiStat III and Monarch Centrifugal Analyzers at Instrumentation Laboratory. He was also a senior research scientist in biomedical research at Oak Ridge National Laboratories and helped launch two successful startup companies.
Dr. Tiffany is currently serving on the executive advisory board of Nuvodia, a healthcare informatics company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of GenPrime, and is on local university advisory boards. Prior to his consulting career, Dr. Tiffany was Board Certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemists (ABCC) and a Fellow of the Academy of clinical Biochemists (FACB). Dr. Tiffany was also on the Board of Directors of the American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA).
Dr. Tiffany holds a Ph.D. from Oregon State University and has Post-Doctoral training at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo in Clinical Biochemistry. Dr. Tiffany authored more than forty publications and holds more than10 US Patents.
Dr. Tiffany resides in Washington State with his family.
